We have a trio of photographers for today’s moon photos and a fourth for a sunset video. We start off with Taana Blom from her Chassell home, looking out toward the Lower Entry Lighthouse, which is bathed in the glow of the moon. It actually looks like a spotlight is shining on it out there. Taana said the mosquitoes were so bad this evening, that she almost got carried away by them. Yikes!
The second photo was snapped by Barbara Bouwkamp at her Big Traverse camp and actually on the same evening as Taana’s photo. The moon glow was shining a path across Lake Superior, right to Barbara’s shoreline there.
The third photo was taken a week or so earlier than the first two photos, by Jean Dessellier. The detail of the moon is amazing in her shot. If the left portion wasn’t blacked out, I bet we’d be able to see the “man in the moon”, too.
To top of these beautiful moon shots, we have a video, recorded by Steve Brimm, over at Steve Brimm Photography, which I think is the perfect way to start the work week, with 20 seconds of Copper Harbor Serenity. Sit back, take a deep breath and enjoy!

“Traprock Valley Moon”:
Thinking of songs:
Blue Moon?
Pink Moon?
Grapefruit Moon?
Orange Moon?
Banana Moon? Got it! 😉
