On a recent hike to the Hungarian Falls, Marcy Bessolo Hermanson started out on snowshoes, but ended up on foot. With the warm temps we’ve been having and the snow melting some, you could walk all around without them. Marcy said this was her first time there in the winter and thought it was fun to take in the different views this time of year. That last photo is actually the falls... pretty iced over right now. I like how it’s all chunky and bumpy looking and then the snow accumulations on top of it all. Before you know it, though, the snow will be melting and the falls running again. I’m sure we’re in for a couple more storms, but we are on the downside of winter here UP North.
Our video excursion starts out with a Michigan license plate from 1967 that pretty much says it all about the video content. Plenty of water and plenty of winter here in Michigan.

What a fantastic set today…thanks, Mary!
If only I had that kind of balance back again, I'd be on my feet from sunrise to sunset and sleep standing up.
