Often requested are the Pictured Rocks near Munising.
Join us here tomorrow as we explore this unique park on the Lake Superior
shore.
(notice the adjacent sign: FRESH
PASTIES - IN STORE BAKERY. Remember, U.P. pasties
are always available right here)

As we continue our wandering across the U.P., here's
a familiar sight near the eastern end of US-2, not far from the bridge.
(strange magnetic effects?... or the mystery of human
gullibility?.)

Our lens did some roaming this week and discovered
the Nina docked at Marquette. This replica is open to the public
for a few more days. Tell them you saw it on the Pasty Cam!
(In 1492 we wonder if Columbus ever heard of pasties?...)

90° temps made it a great day to beat the heat
on Schlatter Lake. Located near the tip of the Keweenaw, only logging trails
provide access to the lake.
(Green foliage courtesy of yesterdays thunderstorm.)

Pasty Cam spies a small nest of late blooming baby
robins. Looks like these little ones are waiting for mom and a meal.
(This picture was taken from a distance to avoid
disturbing them.)

Jeff Heikkinen of Mohawk puts the finishing touches
on the Eagle River monument. Thanks to the generous gifts of our
Internet friends, Still Waters and the Keweenaw Historical Society were
enabled to sponsor this joint repair project.
(gifts came in when we featured the cracking monument
on the Pasty Cam this spring)
