Fall colors and
frost is in the air
For we know God's alive and he is always there.
Oh the smells of different foods;
jams and jellies, some cooking of vegetables too.
Moms doing all that pickling, reminds me that winter's almost due.
All winter long we wait for spring - anew
God knows those best, better than we do.
My dear people enjoy nature in all its coat of many colors,
golden, reds, and greens
Because we know who made it all,
and who painted these fantastic scenes.
My heart is beating a little faster, to see the sunset much to my delight.
I know that our creator lets us see the sun go down --
beautiful -- then it is night.
In the morning the sun comes up, and on a brand new day
Remember, to get on your knees and pray,
the sun is in full array.
Enjoy your stay on this good ol' earth,
Jesus is the reason and for your blessed birth.
