Eggs-quisite TM evolved from a consistent, throughout
the years hobby, into a wonderful self-satisfying business, and
the online exposure is "icing on the cake!" I had dreamed
of graduating from a fantastic Art Institute, however, I married
at 19, (38 years ago) and was raising three children by age 26.
I continued to dabble in every art and craft available to me,
but it was the Ukrainian Pysanky that became my niche. After
registering Eggs-quiste in 1990, I spent the first few years
establishing myself as an artist. Fortunately, I was accepted
into every juried arts fair and exhibition that I entered, and
received numerous awards. In 1993, I was one of the artists selected
to design an ornament for the Blue Room, White House Christmas
tree; it was an Angel on a rhea egg. That was the just the impetus
needed for my ego to "let go," and I began concentrating
all of my further efforts to running my business.
Eggs-quisite Pysanky has inspired my original Sterling /Eggshell
jewelry, which in turn, has evolved into B. Bosco Designs. Currently
using inserts via Mother Nature: pressed flower petals and colorful
Autumn leaves, along with turtle shells and butterfly wings (all
from naturally expired creatures) is truly fulfilling my soul's
creative urges!
