Tonight in Dollar Bay, Bethany Baptist extended hospitality to the community with another 'Big Buck Night'. About 240 attendees were treated to a feast of wild game, and some timely thoughts from Chad Curtis, former baseball professional and avid bow hunter. Chad also mentioned to me afterwards that he sought out a good pasty when he arrived in town, and sampled the fare at Toni's in Laurium.

A few 20+ pointers on display in the Big Buck Showroom... It gets bigger and buckier every year. We got a chuckle from the note on the back of the program:

I am wondering about the pile of horns on the table. Are they being turned in for some reason? What will they be used for and why didn't the hunters want to keep them? We have a wall full of these things in our basement!

The pile of horns were used as decorations for the event. This photo was taken after the dining area was being cleaned up after the wild game dinner!
