Here we've been looking for color in the trees (just about reached the peak here in the U.P.) and some of the most magnificent color is above the treetops. Thanks R.C. for distilling some of it for the Pasty Cam.
Speaking of sailors... Al Kempke recently sent this shot, taken between Dollar Bay and Chassell.
Exchange student Arthur from Brazil at the tiller of the BSA Seascouts' sailboat, clipping along at about 7 knots. The other guys (l-r: Jon, Andy and Chris) are members of the Michigan Tech Eagle Scouts Association. Al is advisor of the local club, which supports the Rotary Youth Exchange program, contributing to world peace and understanding.
