I was lookin through all the voluminous U.P. shots Charlie has received recently (he left me a boatload before he went on vacation) and I ran across this odd one by Donn de Yampert. (You may have seen some of Donn's previous discoveries on the Pasty Cam, like the butterfly sundial). I don't know what you see in this picture, but I see a deer with two rumps - - and a lotta venison steaks one of these days. (Oh no, there I go gettin' into trouble again.)

It's been a busy week here in Pasty-land. I see them bakin' to beat the band over at the kitchen. Playin' catch-up after the thousands they shipped for the Minnesota State Fair, which started yesterday. Soon you'll be able to order online again, we promise.

ROFLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the laugh - I don't believe I've laughed that hard all week!

Now I'm sure Donn could do some sort of alignment for this poor fawn that could get it to moving OK on its own! I'm sure the extra legs don't help things, either.

Toivo - thanks for filling in for Charlie all week! I've enjoyed your unusual choice of pictures.

Hmmm... they say that two heads are better than one, but... what about two bottoms?!?

Toivo. It's my way of saying the picture is late again today. Actually it says, what now boy? Late again. I should have used mies instead of poika. That would then say man or mister. Please don't be offended by the poika. pronounce that boyga. Can you imagine the hits on the site today looking for the new picture?

Toivo, You're all right but you sleep to late. You're always a day behind.

kinda like a "venison train" ... i wonder if it runs on tracks?!?!?

By Gary, Colorado on Saturday, August 24, 2002 - 10:48 pm:

That kind of ladder truck is known as a "Tiller." Helps you get around tight corners when both the front and rear ends can steer. The kind pictured would work good in those tag alder thickets.
