I read somewhere that Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota together account for the majority of America's English pea production (or was it garden pea, green pea, sugar pea, or snap pea?) Harvest time has long since passed in the southern parts of the Great Lake states, but peaking as you move farther north. Thanks, Peggy, for another lovely shot.
And, by the way, peas are NOT included in our pasties. You would be surprised how often people ask.
The second scene is from Rose Riemer, as she was rambling on the rocks at Copper Harbor. A good eye runs in the family.
Once again the Pasty Cam wraps up a week with different photographers each day. Because of such contributions by so many friends - both pictures and comments - Pasty Central was honored on Monday to be among the Detroit Free Press favorite Michigan websites for 2002. Our thanks to Mike and Heather for the mention.
And now the tough job of picking this week's WOW :o)
