With a quick hand and a lot of patience, Donn de Yampert has done it again for a beautiful Great Lakes shot, this time Little Bay de Noc (Lake Michigan).

Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July.

Also, in case you missed it, we found a real audio of Smokey the Bear's song. There were several requests about it on Monday's Pasty Cam.

Well... As the CEO of www.ealertusa.com I REALLY love this lightning shot! I have some beautiful ones, but none, of course, are from the U.P. The Great Lakes just seem to make EVERYTHING better... Even lightning! :) I've got to move back up there, before I lose my mind! I love coming to Pasty Central everyday, and looking at the lift bridge, but it makes me SO homesick.

Happy Fourth America! I sure wish I was at our cabin in Copper Harbor today, to watch the parade and fireworks like we did a few years ago. You guys have the best parades. They haven't changed since I was a kid up there, and I hope they always remain that way.

Seeing that lightning on the lake makes me homesick. living in Hawaii for 5 years now really makes you homesick. I love to travel to the UP to see all the beautiful nature that Michigan has to offer. You can't do that here in Hawaii.

Our small town celebrates with fireworks on the third so as not to conflict with celebrations in other neighboring small towns. It's always great.

Hope you had a happy 4th.

I truly love this site. The pictures are especially nice. This website is where I go when I cannot really go back home to Michigan.

A pc2003 for sure! Thanks.

I agree with Michele Miller, above. It's where I go when I can't get back there too! I was just telling Charlie on the phone today, how much I love this website, but how homesick it makes me!
