Been cleaning out the shoebox and thought I'd pass some along.
This is a picture of me and my father, Al Witt, stopping at the Cut River Bridge on the way north. This would be around 1961. My father died soon after in a truck accident while hunting in Wyoming.
I remember, later on, that we would leave Detroit early in the morning and then stop at Cut River to cook a big late breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast...the works...all over the charcoal grills and eat on the picnic tables.
Here's one of my Great Grandfather William Paull. Not sure where it was taken or what year.
