Here are some photos of our vacation this month in the Keweenaw. This is Ginger, our Jack Russell Terrier, who is fulfilling her "Mountain Dog" fantasies of climbing up the edge of Brockway. Also, Ginger kissing a deer in our cabin lodge. Below is a sunset photo over Lake Superior near Copper Harbor (taken 5/7) and the next morning (taken 5/8) we woke up to snow!! That's life in the U.P.!

Where was your cabin? Is it something others can rent?

That almost looks like the view from the Eagle Lodge cabin. Am I right?

Gotta a Ginger look-a-like by the name of Happy.
We are coming up the end of June. Everyone at work has told me to take her "up there", because she'll love it. Any hints where to stay or any "dog friendly stuff"?

The leaves basically EXPLODED yesterday in that heat! You could almost watch them grow!

We stayed at Eagle Lodge Lakeside cabins (although the address in Eagle Harbor, it is actually closer to Copper Harbor). You can find a link to their webiste through copperharbor.org.

That would be Lake Fanny Hooe looking NE towards Copper Harbor and Lake Superior in the distance. That Brockway Mtn. drive is so beautiful. We will have to go back in the fall.

Barb in Detroit, definitely bring your little Jack. Ginger loved the waves...she would bite them, but the water was still a bit cold for her to take a swim.
