Escanaba area
On the north side of Escanaba the river pours into Little Bay De Noc, but not before it flows through the gates of this landmark. Donn de Yampert found the end of the rainbow and brought it home to the Copper Country. Good Pasty Cam material.

We are receiving so many great shots from all around the U.P. that we have created a special mailing address where you can send your .jpg's as attacments: photos@pasty.com. We welcome pictures from new visitors, whether a current view or a "shoebox memory".

The maps are great Charlie. Now we can see just where all these beautiful shots were taken.

i agree with doug on the use of these maps. another nice rainbow photo. most rainbows are high in the sky but this one is really down to earth.

I grew up in Esky & went to Mich Tech way back when. It's great to see the pictures & the maps.
Keep up the good work!

Please, let's make this one the WOW! I always remember watching for the dam on my parents' trips to Wisconsin back in the late 60's/early 70's. Another attraction I watched for was a fountain that (I think) was outside a motel in Escanaba that had colored floodlights... anybody else remember this motel in Escanaba? Is it (or the fountain) still there?

I also grew up in Escanaba. A long time ago. We left Michigan back in 1979, so much time has gone by but we still like to log on and remember the great countryside!
