Here's a picture of the old Ice Rink Shack that used to be located on Front Street. It's home now is on the Houghton County Historical Museum property and is open for tours during the summer.

There are many fond memories of warming those cold fingers and toes by the heater.

It's funny a picture from Lake Linden showed up today. We attended the Bowling Green/Northern Michigan hockey game saturday night in Bowling Green, OH and had the pleasure of sitting behind the Northern Michigan students--two of whom were from Lake Linden; great fans with a lot of spirit who represented their school well.

This is sooo cool! I love all you guys at Pasty Central for putting this stuff up! I am not able to visit as much as I want, but seeing these pictures and chatting with people from home sure makes living out East easier and home much dearer. If I do get up this summer (which is a distinct possibility) I will tour the cabin at the museum with my kids.

I don't think any of us away from home can properly formulate how thankful we are for your work on this site. Thanks so much folks.
