I never know what a new week will bring to the Pasty Cam. This week we rode the rails to a shoebox memory, snowmobiled the Keweenaw hills, dove in the frozen Portage Canal, climbed up the Snow Thermometer, shot the rapids in the Big Iron River, and then stopped off at the Munising rest area. Whew!

Today's shots from Doug Smith could have been taken here in the woods around Eagle River, but he was walking closer to Lake Michigan than Superior to bring you these scenes.

A big thank you to all the Pasty Camists who made it another fun week!

Excellent Wilderness Park photos. It's no wonder Doug Smith didn't travel all the way to Keweenaw during his winter vacation time. Maybe this coming summer.

Wilderness State Park is about 10 miles west of Mackinaw City on Lake Michigan. Not in the U.P., but you can see the U.P. looking over the straits from the beach there :o)
