The less than picturesque industrial setting of the Ontonagon Lighthouse becomes surreal in a nightime snowshower. Ontonagon County Historical Society is responsible for the nice display of Christmas lights.

I haven't been able to fulfill one visitor's request for the lights of Rockland. I can't seem to time a visit at the "blue moment" of evening that's necessary for a good photo.

Scott Hoover and Judy Koon were wed this weekend at the picture perfect Wainola Lutheran Church near Mass City. It was lots warmer inside the church.

Our thanks to Dan Urbanski for his contributions to the Pasty Cam this year - especially during these hectic days leading up to Christmas. It has been a VERY busy time.

As you may have heard, Pasty Central had a record number of pasty orders, shipping to most of the 50 states... but also faced very adverse weather conditions to deliver those orders. In spite of valiant efforts by the Airborne drivers, a few of our regular visitors will be without pasties this Christmas, for which we apologize and promise to re-ship as soon as possible in January.

By the way... the shot of Scott and Judy above is not the only wedding this week... On Wednesday (27th), your webmaster's daughter is getting married. With so many guest from downstate having to cancel travel plans, we are considering a live webcast of the ceremony here on the Pasty Cam.

A Warm and Happy Christmas from all of us here in the U.P.

Merry Christmas to Pasty Cam and all the photographers! Love the pic. of the Ontonagon light house; just gave 2 of my daughters miniture replica's of that same lighthouse for Christmas!! And natch, I have one for myself! Seems as though lighthouses are back in popularity big time. And best of all, my husband and I have a gift certificate to stay at the Bed & Breakfast Lightouse at Big Bay this summer! Can't wait!! What a great gift for Christmas!!

The white wedding shot is beautiful, Charlie, but Dan's picture of the Ontonagon Lighthouse is both beautiful and eerie with it's orbs of different colored light glowing in the misty darkness.
Great bookends for Christmas Eve, guys!

Nice work, as usual, Dan. Great pic of the Lighthouse. Sounds like the Lighthouse is in the right hands now. Hope they do the right thing with it. Seasons Greetings from New Hampshire. My wife and I have 5 Urbanski's throughout our house, with more to come.

So enjoyed the wedding picture! My husband and I were married in December at St. Johns Lutheran church in Hubbell! That was 39 years ago. Looked much the same! Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Happy New Year to all!
