When a tragedy touches your own life, you have a new capacity to feel the grief of others. During September 2000, hearing about the traffic death of a father and son here in the Copper Country, I realized it has been 5 years since losing my own brother under similar circumstances. Words can't express the pain of passing through that valley, it doesn't seem that long ago. Our heart goes out to the Maki family.

Thanks to Rose Riemer for capturing this Copper Country sunrise. It reminded me of Psalm 30:5, "...weeping may remain for a night, but joy comes in the morning."

What a beautiful picture. A sunrise!
But what a Son we have in Jesus, the Son of God,
who can heal our wounds when we lose a love one.
Praying for the Maki family even tho we don't know
them. The verse you quoted is so true - Our joy will come in the morning, 'when we see Christ'.
THANKS AGAIN FOR THE BEAUTIFUL PICTURES YOU PUT
ON HERE SO WE CAN ALL ENJOY THEM.
