Welcome to November! Full moon last night and northern lights almost every night... the sky certainly has our attention these days.

This particular scene is just before sunrise, which you can see reflected in the upstairs window. That happens to be our bedroom window, from which we've seen the sunrise for about the past 12 years. Four of those years have been occupied by this daily journal. I don't even remember how it came to be known as the 'Pasty Cam', but it sure has been an interesting ride here in the Keweenaw.

Yes, DMac and Betty, it had a very subtle echo to the first band of color. I hadn't noticed that it showed up on the picture.

I only wish that I could have gotten back 'home' again this fall to appreciate the colors. It certinally beats Indiana. Always a great view from the nose of Brockway.
