The end of a tragic month in the life of our nation. We pause again to remember the victims of the tragedy, and include in our memorial several friends who passed through the valley of the shadow of death this month.

By Proverbs 30:4-5 on Sunday, September 30, 2001 - 09:29 pm:

Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands?
Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is His name, and the name of His Son?
Tell me if you know!

Every word of God is flawless;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.

Robert Simpson 12-04-99, Susan Simpson 12-24-89.
Both gone to our Lord at a very young adult age.
They are my brother and sister, and are missed by all family members very much. My prayers go out to all the family members of the events of 9-11.
The Lord will comfort and guide you.

Hello all
Another great picture Dan!! Can you answer a question tho? I have a bet with my husband. I say the picture is from the Lake of the Clouds area in the Porkies and my husband thinks it is from Brockway Mountain. Who is right? Or are we both wrong?
Best wishes,
Renee in IL

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him,and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6
Note:
Trusting God is faith,
faith is the enemy to
fear.
WE do not have a spirt of fear, but of love power and of sound mind.2 Timothy 1:7

Since this looks like Brockway Mountain, Lake of the Clouds, AND the Trap Hills, shall we assume the U.P. pretty much looks the same all over? ;o)

If the valley of the shadow of death looks like this, maybe it won't be so bad.

Peace.

In honor of the wonderful memory of my father, Bill Clay, who went home to be with our Lord May 19, 1999.

May I be at least half the blessing to my children as he was to me and my sisters.

Rest in peace, dear Father...till we meet again.
