In years past we have featured pictures from the Parade of Nations... but this year we cover a different event: the arrival of Fall. It landed near the airport - the Somero Farm to be exact - and then propagated throughout the Keweenaw and the rest of the U.P. It might even have arrived where you are.

Colors have been slow in coming to the Copper Country this year. The next couple of weeks should be some of the best. Stay tuned.

I have been to kid's birthday parties at the Somero Farms. They are just awesome! Hay Rides, mazes for the kids, hotdogs on the grill, etc. The Someros go all out to make a child's birthday party just ROCK! They have the bestest pumpkins going too! Reminds me...I better take a spin up there before all the good ones are gone! :)

We had our daughter Johanna's 5th birthday party at the Somero farm. It was super, and the Somero's do go all out to make it a great time for everyone! Their farm is beautiful! And the hayrides are a kick. And pumpkins??? They know how to grow 'em! Very nice people, the Somero's
