Hooray, the colors are waiting for me! :-)
Can't wait to visit my beloved U.P. in 2 1/2 more weeks. Thanks so much Pasty Cam for giving us daily glimpses of the land we love so much.

I'm sitting here at my office in Ohio, just a stones throw from Kentucky, eating a PASTY and enjoying a fresh look at the UP. Guess that's a good use of the PASTY CAM. HUH?? Thanks!!!!

Are you going to retake the picture when the colors are in full bloom????
us here in the brown desert of phoenix would appreciate it.

Hey Walt in Ohio, I'm also sitting here in my office in Ohio (Toledo)looking at the UP. But I'm not eating a PASTY. But that's o.k., because two weeks from today, I will be up in the UP enjoying the colors and eating a PASTY. Am I there yet??
Can't wait to see those fall colors.

Thank you for going out on a limb to bring us our daily fix!!

The picture was taken from up in an oak tree twenty five to thirty feet located on a ridge better known as the East Bluff. Jim Studebaker and I found this view last bird season. Of course then there were no leaves and we did not have to climb above the trees to see this beautiful sight. The camera is looking southeast with Mt. Houghton on the left and Mt. Bohemia to the right and slightly behind. We will of course update this picture once the color season is in full swing. Hope you enjoy.

Another wallpaper shot. Thanks for sharing the beauty. I am making pasties for dinner tomorrow night. Lots of work, but well worth the effort. Even though they are homemade, they taste better in the upper. Thanks again for the great photo

Scott,
What I'd like to know is: What kind of tree stand do you employ whilst boid huntink? Have to admit, the method does sound intriguing.

Tonight, I plan on chopping up the veggies for pasties, placing the contents in a large roaster; thereafter, I will vegetate on the couch while my doughless pasties bake in the oven. Never could make a good dough--comes out hard, like a shell.
Go figure.
