Every now and then I tune in the "Bridge Cam" here at Pasty Central. It's always neat to see the bridge lift for boats to pass through. But if you were watching when the Joseph L. Block breezed by, you saw that roadway hoisted higher into the atmosphere than usual, to make way for this giant.

Daryl Laitila was quick with her handy Pasty Cam and sent us these shots. Actually, the Bridge Cam is upstairs in her guest room in the east hill neighborhood in Hancock.

Hi! What a GREAT Surfing accident - I came across this wonderful page while looking for info. on the area. We are doing an Elderhostel in Cedarville with LSSU first week in Oct. - I was looking for restaurants and checked out Cup of the Day and from there somehow found your site while investigating what a PASTIE is - at least I now know it has vegetables "in" it - love the pictures I've run across here at your site.
