The Pasty Cam rolls into a new month! August marks the midway point of the fourth year of this daily feature.

We are very grateful for all of the new friends we have met through Pasty Central, who have made this website take on a life of its own. A special thank you to all who have emailed U.P. pictures and made these pages come alive. Frank Greene sent these shots of the Lac La Belle picnic. See anybody you know?

P.S. I notice this morning, with the latest shipment to the Minnesota State Fair, the old pasty counter reached a new milestone! We'll have to do something special for the lucky pasty lover who buys the 100,000th at the fair this month!

Congratulations on reaching 100,000 pasties!!! We figure that must be about 50 tons of UP delight you have spread across North America. A ton of pasties per state!!!
