I remember riding my 10 speed up there for the Copper Country 125 back in 1979. I can almost feel that Lake Superior air!!

The U.P. is unsurpassed in it's beauty & it's splendor. It is an enchanting place that calls you back time & time again. It is fast becoming my favorite place in the whole world....Thanks for sharing your beautiful photo....

I visited Lake Fanny Hooe once a long time ago.
I got to stand where my Great Great Grandfather may have stood while hunting for meat to feed the family through the winter. He was a mine carpenter and lived in Kerscharge,(sorry for the spelling), but hunted around the lake.
I remember the lake to be a wee bit cold even in august...
