The Hut in Kearsarge recently celebrated the arrival of the summer season with a day of old-fashioned drive-in car-hop service, and a variety of vintage autos on hand. The old Jilbert's truck seems right at home here along US 41.

If you are among the thousands who enjoy Pasty Central pasties, you may not be aware that the former owner of the Hut, Mike Patterson, is the lead cook at our pasty kitchen. After Mike sold the Hut to the Patrick's in '99, he led Pasty Central through the rigorous USDA approval process. Mike's years of experience in food service help insure the high level of quality in the delicious pasties we ship all over the country.

The Hut Inn and Pasty Central... both bringing you a taste of the Copper Country. Hut-wise, you'll just have to travel here to enjoy it. Airborne Express can bring the other to your door next week :o)

The tradition continues

When I was in high school, the waitstaff from Toni's Country Kitchen (Fawn Beiring, Libbie Newman, Amy "Rose" Teddy, myself, and others), would go to the Hut for "hazelnut java" and mud pie! Those were great times!

Hey Mike(fellow HHS classmate), It is great to know that your wonderful cooking is still available. Loved it at The Hut and enjoy it with the pasties.

The picture of Jilberts truck is a impositor as the 38 Dodge was used by the Gaspardo Bros. dairy who also delivered milk, eggs, etc. in the Lake Linden area. Their farm was next to the "Green Spot". There was also milk delivery by Oistie (sp?) who peddled milk from a two door Model "A"
