How I enjoy preparing and publishing a new shot from the U.P. each day, now in our 4th year of the Pasty Cam. It was 5 years ago this month, one morning out of the blue came an idea: "Wonder if the name 'pasty-dot-com' is available on the new world wide web?" Sure enough it was. 1,800+ days later, we're still delivering a glimpse of Upper Michigan through that web (and a few pasties along the way).

With this wonderful shot from Dan Urbanski, I found myself holding my breath, afraid of bumping the delicate droplets from this web, before I could share it with you.

Have a great day.

"The heavens declare the glory of God
The skies proclaim the work of his hands
Day after day they pour forth speech
Night after night they display knowledge."

chopper,

Spring came to California two months ago, and here in the Sacramento area that means flowers, leaves on the trees and wonderful sun. But these spring glimpses are a wonderful treat and reminder of those great foggy days when the sky and the earth touch and everything in between is a part of it. While I didn't miss the 300 inches of snow this year, the beginning of Keweenaw spring does bring a small pang.

What an absolute JEWEL of a picture, Dan. Keep up the phenomenal work, which is enjoyed by so, so many all over the country.

Charlie, I to thank you for the GREAT pictures that you send us. I agree with Tim above that
it is enjoyed by sooooo many people like us who
live away from there now. Thanks Tim for telling
us about the site. And God's glory can be seen
by so many. What a great God we have that gave us this beautiful world.

What an absolutely gorgeous picture...a work of art. What talent, Dan! Now I'm really getting homesick for the U.P. Thank you so much for this website and all your effort to make it something to look forward to each day. A little piece of heaven. God is good.

Also, Jim_greenville,mi, how do you make the cross that you typed in after your message? I'm still a novice on the computer, and can't figure it out....I like it.

pc2002 I really like this one. I am glad that I don't have to make the finally decision. It would be impossible they are all so beautiful. It gives me a look at the rest of the country without having to travel there. I get motion sick really easy but love to see more of the country and this is one great way to do it. Keep up the good work.

This web site is my home away from home. Before I discovered pasty.com I could only visit the U.P. once a year, now I get a little taste of home every day. Calumet my home town, is now just a CLICK away.
