Our rivers are boiling with the heavy rainfall, and the fog rolling in from Lake Superior softens the fury. The green grass below the trees on the right catch my eye and help me hold out hope for better days ahead.

I love the rain but I'm really happy that the temps forecasted for the weekend are up around 70. That'll be a well deserved gift! Gotta love that rain though. Nice shot Dan!

Great shot, Dan. LOVE this Pasty Cam, so do all my friends all over the U.S. Keep up the good work!

Great shot Dan! What river is this?
We camp over by Black River Harbor. Would be great to see a shot of what that river and the suspension bridge over there looks like around now. Maybe someone can grab a shot of it sometime.
Hope everyone is having a great day!!
Best wishes,
Renee in IL

Renee,

This is the Big Iron River, right here in downtown
Silver City.

I have a job with the UP Travel Association to
photograph the Black River. If I get something
good, I'll post it here, too.

Bee Sarasota. FL Tues. 11:55PM...............The last two summers have been VERY dry, so even thou you are getting alot of water I think it is badly needed....makes for better berry picking. Won't be long and hopefully will be back up in the Keewanee soon....until the end of the first week of October. Seeing old friends, shopping in Calumet and Houghton and viewing the gorgeous sunsets on 5 Mile point Rd, one mile South of Sand Bay Lighthouse.....visiting friends in Hubble and Lake Linden, lunch at the Trolley Station at Ahmeek with the best ice cream in the world for dessert....and getting pasties at Pasty.com...seeing once again all the fine, friendly folks and enjoying the peace and quiet.
