We went for a long walk through the woods today. There's a huge area bounded by US-41, M-26, and Five Mile Point road. The northeast corner is where the old Eagle River dump used to be... and some of the logging roads wind for miles.

Still a lot of snow in the woods - almost knee deep in places. But it won't last long, as a warm rain washes away the melting drifts. If you look closely in this shot, you can see a few raindrops streaking through the Pasty Cam's view.

See.... there's even beauty in a soggy walk through the woods. We just have to look a little harder for it :-)

Great to see the northern green. Living in the land of oak for the state tree. It is currently shedding its green dust everywhere. love finding new wallpapers from your site.
