Actually the Dairy Queen is to the right of this picture, as Frosty here is plunked
between the building and the drive-thru panel. Ahh, love those Tropical Blizzards.

Hopefully later today we'll have a report from Delaware Days, going on right now up
in Delaware, between here and Copper Harbor on U.S. 41.

What an appropo picture. However, I don't remember seeing a Dairy Queen in Keewenaw. Did I miss something last summer?

The Dairy Queen has actually been there for some time now. It is in the same parking lot as the Taco Bell and Blockbuster Video. In Houghton.

a very good idea of what to do with all the snowfall. looks much better than big piles of it near parking lots. all towns could learn from this example. something fun for our youth to do to keep from..."gee, there is nothing to do,i'm so bored!".....keep up the roving pasty cam photos.

Once winter starts the big thaw up there, sure hope ole Willy doesn't decide to roll... backwards!

Who remembers the Dairy Queen being by the bridge-the old one-on the Houghton side?

There was never a Dairy Queen there, but there was an ice cream/pizza shop owned by Jackie Koskela. DQ is a very valuable addition to the area's already priceless atmosphere. And I only go back to visit once a month!!!!

My wife's grandmother, Lilliam June Slockett, was born at Delaware in 1908. Thank goodness her family moved SOUTH!! BRRRR!!
