Each month we share names emailed our way, individuals who passed recently, and share some memories. We welcome your notes about these folks, or any others you would care to mention here:

John LeVentis
Ruth Hill
Joshua Keller
Mary Raisanen
Irene Rowe
The last two are of particular note to those of us at Pasty Central. Mary and Irene were residents here at Still Waters for several years. Along the way they helped with making the pasties we send throughout the country. You may have seen Mary in some of our pictures... She's the one with a striped blouse in the top row:

Irene Rowe also appeared on several occasions, most notably on the cover picture of last year's Pasty Cam calendar. Here's another shot from the day that was taken, and as you can see, Irene was an outgoing lady. We fondly remember them both.

Besides it being a fabulous shot, Jon caught a rare atmospheric phenomenon - a sun pillar! How I long to be in Keweenaw and just sit and watch the sky...

Please add Patricia "Pat" Donnelly to your list. She was a truly wonderful lady who worked for Janus Home Health Care. She was 60 years young and left behind five wonderful children and numerous friends who miss her terribly, me especially.

Your picture is so very appropriate and now my wallpaper in rememberance. Thank you.

That picture is one of the most beautiful pictures that i have ever seen!My nine year old was impressed too..i heard a big WAH out of him when he turned the computer on this morning.I have sent a link to everyone that i know so they too can enjoy that lovely picture.

Beautiful shot Jon. Please add Ellen Voelker to your list. She is dearly missed by her 3 remaining children, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandsons and my heartbroken grandpa-- her husband of nearly 55 years.

A time to remember my father "Earl R. Snell" who has been gone 4 years Feb.1,1997. He left behind a beautiful wife Helen and 6 children and 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. We miss him dearly! We love you dad!!

I enjoy touring the great U.P. each summer and our grandchildren love to go with me. In fact I own and operate my own pasty shop in lower michigan. I've always loved our upper peninsulia and my business reflects that. Thank you for having this web site.
