We have some pretty advanced snow removal equipment here in the Copper Country. Yesterday's Heikinpäivä parade introduced the latest technology from the old Finnish farmer (assisted by his lovely wife). 2001 model of the one-horsepower superblade. (Look out Blizzard Plows!)

Can't believe noone else remembers--
I'm getting old along with everyone else--BUT-- I remember that there was actually a horse and plow driver who cleared the sidewalks on College Avenue when I was a youngster walking to school from the campus area. There was a barn for the horse on the street that now goes down to the NPS area, I think, (memory not remembering street names) but I do remember them plowing, and occasionally getting to pat the horse on my way home. Am I old--YUP!
