From the shore near Copper Harbor comes a Cam shot by Steve Brimm. A lot of melting in the past couple of days has left a glaze on the surface, and a few inches less snow.

Today we took advantage of the warmer temps here in the Keweenaw and cleared some of the matted down snow/ice from the driveway. Weather reports call for a new storm system to move in from the west. Don't look for daisies any time soon.

By the way, Steve Brimm will soon have a new website of his photography among the Pasty Central collection: Brimmages.com. Stay tuned.

Sky-blue snow dunes or a flooded flark? Either way, it's got a riverrunning beauty all it's own...

Beautiful! The mark of a true artist is where you see the fleeting beauty. A quote from Paul Cezanne--"If I were called on to define briefly the word "art", I should call it the reproduction of what the senses perceive in nature, seen throught the veil of the soul." This picture fits.
