Kim Beyer's clan has been featured on these pages before - - with a bit less clothes on and a tad dirtier too! They always seem to be having some good old fashioned Copper Country fun. This Beyer poika has found himself a new buddy to finish off his vacation from school with. Sure looks like it was lots of fun making this friend. Those are some pretty big orangeballs - - I mean eyeballs!

Looks like you're having fun in the snow. The two inches we got the other day are almost gone.
Enjoy as long as you can!-)

The shores of Puget Sound have a dusting of snow today. I was in the lower pennisula for a week after Christmas. I arrived back in Seattle on New Year's Day to find my car with 4 inches of snow on it. More than I had seen in Michigan!

Be sure and take your swiwsuits to Washington ! Tons of rain and cloudy weather galore.

SAH in Coupeville,
Is there snow over on Whidbey today? We have about
two inches on the ground and more coming down as I
type (east of Seattle). Saw kids out sledding this
morning and guarding their big snow fort.

Hello Uncle Phil and Kathie!

The Stmr. Buffalo is at anchor near the Keweenaw Pennisula along with 4 of the 1,000 footers due to gales and high seas on Lake Superior.

Well for us trolls it looks like winter is on its way (finally). It was 52 degrees this morning here in Clawson. Winter storm watch for most of us in southeast Michigan tonight with a possible 6-12 inches of the white stuff by Sunday night. Time to break out the blower.

I shoveled about 1 1/2" from the sidewalk this morning. They're talking COLD soon and I'm wishing there was more snow on the ground here. Spose I should do da Heikki Luntaa dance? Even got da starter fixed on da Cub Cadet and charged up dat battery. I'm ready!

From Downstate...
Yeah, 6 to 12 inches tonite... I'll believe it when I see it.
So far this year, our local Detroit Channel Weathermen have been wrong with their accumulation estimates for every snow event we've had down here all year.
I'd love to see a good event down here, believe me I would...But I believe the so called "meteorologists" have been "crying wolf" all year...
I wonder what John Dee would be predicting ?

By Joey Lynn, Olympia-Lacey, Washington on Sunday, January 4, 2004 - 02:47 am:

Great to see other Washingtonians are former Yoopers. Out here in Olympia it is snowing like crazy. It took me almost 2 hours to drive 11 miles...the sports car factor didn't help. But I drove in the UP for many years and don't remember dealing with anything like this. Out here no one knows how to drive in snow. And I don't know how to drive on sheer ice. I wish I was back in the UP where they know how to deal with snow and ice......

Yeah, Paul Gross weatherman Ch. 4 Detroit and all the area forecasters need a real job, they're blaming the computers now, LOL.....

tc tom,
I just loved those "skits" you sent in. I wonder how many people "clicked" on your "subjects"?? They sure tell it as it is.
