Get with it. The only way to eat pasties is

HOT: Butter and salt and pepper.

COLD: Cut in half and put ketchup on as it is eaten.

That bridge cam is absolutely gorgeous! Even though I was born in Laurium and spent a lot of years in Calumet, seeing the bridge makes me homesick, but not for the cold. Here in Arizona, it is 71 degrees at this moment! I'm coming up there in May, so will pay a visit and thank you in person. P.S. I like butter and a little ketchup with my pasties - the ones I got from you were delish! Introduced a few of my friends to pasties.

I just wanted to comment on how much I love the new bridge cam. The resolution is far better and takes in alot more of a panorama. Is this up only for Winter Canival? ...or hopefully for good?

Between the pasty site and John Dee's homepage, I'd be lost in knowing what's happening back home.

It's so good to see Pasty Mail is still operating!
Eino & Toivo's Pasty Sauce sounds intriguing, but I prefer plain butter or cream, Cornish-style! I am not an anti-ketchup-on-pasties snob, though!

Just wanted to let you know that the Pastys came in on schedule. We had them with a light gravy while watching "Escanaba in da moonlight". They were very good and everyone had a great time.

In our family we've been split over the appropriate condiment for the pasties: I live gravy, too, but my wife likes ketchup. That changed recently for both of us as we were introduced to Toivo and Eino's Really Secret Pasty Sauce. It is tomato based, looks like ketchup, but has a secret blend of seasonings which really brings out the flavor. I notice over on the contest page this month Pasty Central is giving away 2 bottles to some lucky winner.
