You can choose any time of year and you won't find a bad one to be out stretching your legs on the Lake Linden Nature Trail. The summer months for walking and the snowier months for skiing. It's an especially wonderful place to walk your dog, with beautiful scenery surrounding you along the way. This is our dog Pippin, who loves to romp around on the trail. If there's no other walkers or pets around, I let him loose to run, which he loves! He has his regular route that he visits each time we go walking there. Aren't pets great for the heart and soul?

YOUR BRIDGE CAM LOOKS LIKE OUR WEATHER ON TUESDAY NIGHT HERE IN TULSA. WE'RE NOT USED TO BIG SNOWS SO IT GETS A LITTLE CRAZY HERE. THE WEATHERMAN SAYS WE'LL GET ANOTHER 10 INCHES OF SNOW THIS WEEKEND. OH BOY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope while you are enjoying the trail walk you bring along your "Supet Duper Yooper Pooper Scooper.

Pippin sure is a cutie. I am glad we have a dog too, as it makes me get out in the cold weather and take her for a walk. We have areas where you can let a dog off leash too, and I really like taking her there so she can run free, which she really enjoys.

RKJ St. Paul: No, I don't have a Super "Duper Yooper Pooper Scooper", but I do carry a bag with me to pick it up! Maybe that's a new industry for someone to start here in the U.P.!!

Sue, Calumet: You'll find the Nature Trail on what used to be called the Lake Linden Sands. Just drive to the L.L. Campground, it's straight ahead through the there. This time of year, you'll have to park outside the gate and walk or ski in!

Has Wallpaper of the Week been placed on hold...?

From time to time we get behind in the WOW department, waiting for a higher resolution original. Should be updated soon, thanks for your patience.

The love I have for our dog Poopsie is as strong as any love I have known. She is my partner's eyes because he is blind.

We raised two golden puppies for Leader Dogs for the Blind in Rochester, MI. What a wonderful experience it was for our family and what a blessing they became for their owners.

Mary,
A very beautiful picture of your dog Pippin!! I had a dog once upon a time like him and he was the best dog that I ever had! He looks like he really enjoys his treks in the out-of -doors!!!
