fresh. I can almost feel myself on top that
peak after a long hike. Thanks for showing us

This is an awsome pic. I love the way the rock borders each end. Maybe I've been spending to much time in digital photo forums but, I can't help but comment on the technical aspects.
If you could better match the stitched sections this would be suitable for framing.
That said this is exactly why we come here each day, to see beautifull pics by wonderfull people.

One of the young students at the elementary school where I work asked if bear grow during hibernation, especially the cubs. Anyone have the answer for us? I bet asking pasty cammers is better than Asking Jeeves! I'll be leaving this afternoon for the U.P. Can't wait to see that beautiful full moon shining brightly across Keweenaw Bay into my living room window!

Great picture Scott. Its an awesome view. If you get a chance, take a shot from Bumbletown Hill overlooking Ahmeek and Mohawk. I want to use it as a screensaver. Thank You.

Here's a piece of trivia. Mt Houghton is higher (elv 1454') than Mt Bohemia (elv 1429')

I agree with Jim B., if you can get a picture overlooking Ahmeek and Mohawk it would be great. It is where both my parents are from, and I was born in Mohawk. Would love to see a picture on here of it. Thanks in advance.

Just beautiful!! I have always wanted a photo of the whole Lanse Bay Panorama.I took some pictures once of it in 3 sections and I hope one day to get someone to paint a picture of it for me using those photos.

My second favorite beach on the backside of the peninsula. I could tell you my favorite, but then I would............well you know the rest.

I spent 4th of July on this beautiful beach, with about 17 other people over two miles...........

I am hoping the sun will be shining when I am off work tommorow as I will honor your request. I grew up in Ahmeek and now reside in Mohawk. I have not perfected the art of putting the pics together but it is getting better. This pic is actually seven pictures that were taken from a tripod leveled with a bowl level. Thanks to all for the compliments and hope you all enjoy what I enjoy so much in person living here.

Thanks Scott, I will be waiting!! We had the same Aunt Lona. So we have the same cousin too, Jim Paull - the famous hockey player :-). My dad was Bill Paull from Ahmeek and my mom is Ruby Perry Paull from Mohawk. I appreciate you doing it. Your pictures are great. I enjoy seeing 'up home' from way out here in AZ.

Scott, I would say thats a pretty darn good job of stiching. I've tried a few, but didnt get that good a result.

Hey dere, Rick. I remember climbing that old fire tower, too. It had missing and rotted steps but the view was worth the risk, eh.

When I was a senior in high school I raced the sun. It was going down, and I was snowshoeing up Bohemia. The day before there had been an ice storm, and every branch and twig on the Keweenaw had a half inch of ice on it. I watched the sun set firey orange over a galaxy of ice from that tower. It will be one of my last memories.
