You are welcome to add any names to this month's remembrance:

Anita Johnson
Martha Joki
John Kaleita
Richard Patana

Just a word about the last 2 friends. John Kaleita is remembered this week at KeweenawNow. We will miss 'hearye@pasty.net'. Another Pasty.NET member, taken too soon in an accident earlier this month, was well-known local musician Richard Patana. Our condolences to the families, and best wishes in the days ahead.

As I look at such a beautiful photograph of Lake Superior I would like to remember two good boating friends that passed away this month.
Scott Chilman - Skipper of the "Pelican Brief" and Glenn Beauchamp -First Mate and Chief of all maintenance on the "Ma's Mink". Both these guys were fine gentlemen that I was lucky to spend many an hour with at Presque Isle Marina in Marquette.

Jim was a 1974 EE graduate of Michigan Tech who worked for 29 years with Bechtel/Westinghouse. Jim truly loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed the beauty of the Keweenaw and the U.P.
Jim was a caring and loving man who is deeply missed by his family and friends. Special condolences during this most difficult time are offered to his wife, Karen; daughters, Jamilyn and Alisha; parents, James and Shirley Kennell; and siblings, Steven Kennell and Sharon Hynes Michael.
