Browsing the Pasty Cam Guest Gallery I came across a great album by Bill Fink, with some shots of the Ranger III on the canal. In the second picture above, if you look real close, notice the eagle has snagged a fish. Also in Bill's album you will find an extra bonus slide show of summer flowers in the U.P. What a fantastic display of Pasty Camistry! Drivin around the streets of Anchorage with a For Sale sign in my window over the long weekend, think I may have finally snagged a buyer. Went to the airport to check on a ticket, and they told me I didn't even need a passport - - after all that work to get one! If this guy comes up wit da raha for my wheels, I may be in Hawaii by the end of the week, and finally finish the 50 state T-shirt. Aloha, eh?

Hmm , let see , Hawaii is a state in this great union of the USA, Alaska is also, so it makes sense that a passport would not be needed to travel from state to state. Hmm. Where are the photos of this journey?

Toivo, Will that buyer know what a historically significant vehicle he is purchasing? What other person is the US or the world, can say they own a truck(?) that drove through 49 states and the provinces of Canada? I think that should make it a collectable!

Toivo: Yooper100 As far as I know -- Hawaii is still one of the 50 states unless Ahnold is going to throw them out for not patronizing his movies strongly enough. Aloha, away! Just hold on real tight to your kryptonite or- hematite. or-magnetite and don't get your shorts all bundled up

Am buying a house tomarrow, in ten years retire back to calumet as for now here is where I belong, there just are no paying jobs up there. Will soon be located in Saint Johns Michigan. I wish it could be home, but home is where you make it.

Nice photo, Bill. I recall the years you were superintendent at I.R.N.P. You always impressed me as a guy of integrity and vision. Park Service is fortunate to have a man of your caliber.
