I want to thank all of the Veterans that kept us free, especially my "Papa". God bless you all.
Getting a lot of snow UP here in Ontonagon. I must have shoveled at least 12 inches off of the deck today. Pooh was busy plowing all day.
I can now see at least 6 more inches.
Took advantage of the snow today and dusted off my snowshoes. The snowy forest was beautiful.

Sad to observe the cancelling of the Veterans Day salute in Eau Claire. The push to change the Christmas to Holiday is about as bad. It seems that the minority views dominate our society. I am wondering what happened to democracies majority rule? Supreme Court interpretation of the US Constitution is a farce. Sorry, this on wrong page?

whatever happened to MY rights as being born and raised in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA? If we went to their, whoever it may be, country, could we do the same thing? that their way of doing things is infringing on my rights as a UNITED STATES citizen.
is there another page for this?

Nothing like sitting here and looking at the snow with a bowl of homemade split-pea soup with carrots and potatoes and ham...yum....yum...;O)

Majority or minority doesn't seem to have anything to do with things; it's whoever is the most vocal. If 90 out of 100 people are in favor of something but they don't say anything; and the other 10 people are jumping up and down screaming and yelling, filing law suits, etc., then the 10 people will probably get their way.
