If only weather predictability were so clear.
According to the MTU records, 1942-43 total was
only 208 inches. The all time record in 1978-79
of 356 inches for MTU records showed a November
total of 55 inches. Only 1985 had a higher
November at 62 inches but the total for 1985-86
ended at 287 inches. Halfway through November
and the pace is quite high though.
BTW, for the 8 years from 2006 to 2013 that
Keweenaw County has published their records,
the Keweenaw totals have been substantially
higher than MTU by the following 8 margins
(2006-2013) 145%, 151%, 131%, 112%, 98%, 148%,
139% & 163%
