Judy Byykkonen had to head over to her neighbor's during the winter storm we had here in the Keweenaw and was surprised to see snow curling off their barn roof already. The temperatures were just right for the snow to be wet enough that it would slide on the metal, curving over the edge. Always a neat view and fun to watch during the storm to see when and if it will finally fall all the way off.
Then with Judy's third and fourth photos, she takes us over the river and through the woods. That's the Traprock River surrounded in snowy wonder and another neighbor's outbuildings nestled on the border of the woods nearby.
I have to admit, even though I'm not quite in the winter mindset yet, it sure does make for some beautiful photos. I'm not so sure I'll feel the same way 4 or 5 months from now, if we're still in the throes of winter, though. ;-)

Looks like that barn roof could be used as a pasta maker.....big pasta that is. The views of the river and woods are beautiful, Judy!

I do enjoy the snow! The barn roof reminds me of ads hanging on bulletin boards with the slits of paper with the phone number to rip off.
