When it comes to finding fun things to do with her Grandkids, Mary Schmitt is right there on top of it, taking hers to many community events, including the annual Ghost Train at the Houghton County Historical Museum campus in Lake Linden.

They fire up the Lake Linden-Torch Lake Railroad for Halloween each year, giving folks a ride around the campus with decorations and spooky participants along the way. The terminal is decked out with Halloween decorations, too. It's loads of fun for the kiddos and brings smiles to the faces of young and old alike.
