I'm pretty sure that I've mentioned the amazing bursts of color we have had this fall here in the Copper Country, but it is hard not to repeat yourself when photos like these come along. Susan Hooker captured today's photos with the brilliant color from the leaves on the trees and then a bonus fall rainbow. Talk about color on color, just beautiful.

The actual colors here UP North are not quite so bright anymore, more muted and fading quickly to empty branches, but this spectacular fall color season has been something to remember, not only for the amazing colors we've been treated to, but also for the length of time we've been enjoying them. We truly do live in a land of great beauty!

Fall colors are dramatic against a dark sky as in the first photo, as long as there is also some sun.

As others have said, this has been a nice fall for seeing the colors.
