Keeping a very close eye on Thursday and the days leading up to "the vote".....

I like the picture of the 1948 air show at the airport. I was there. Just a young kid but I remember those airplanes. One was a twin engined plane with two fuselages. Not like the Lockheed lightening in that the cockpit was in one of the fuselages on this one. I can't remember the name.
I remember how fast they could maneuver. We thought they were fast------------back then.

My favorite plane of that era was the P-38 ~ even had a toy one, which unlike today's plastic toys, it was made of metal with rubber wheels.
