Does anyone here know the current status of ye olde Chippewa Motel (just a short half mile from my folks' home on Fifth Street/C-P road) — is it still alive and well, or what?

From Google Maps Street View, at least it's exterior appears to be well kept, though it doesn't seem to be exactly overburdened with guests. Moreover, they certainly don't seem to appreciate the benefits of on-line advertising or bookings.

A Google search fails to find their web site (if any), but a few places like CopperCountry.com still have listings for it, while others refer to a "Chippewa Motel", a Magnuson Hotels affiliate, located in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, less than 5 miles from Central Michigan University" (!?)

Wasn't the motel endorsed by Duncan Hines?
