Through the years many dedicated volunteers and history buffs have devoted their time and energy to preserving our rich Copper Country heritage. Chuck and Jane Pomazal are a couple of those spark plugs who keep the engine of history humming here in the U.P. These models at Quincy mine are an appropriate backdrop to announce a new book to be released this week, "Rock Down, Coal Up", for which we will be adding more info to this page throughout the week.

Sorry for such a late-in-the-day Shoebox Memory. This weekend we launched a major "Free Breakfast" special, featuring 4 Breakfast Pasties at no extra charge, with every Dozen regular pasties ordered.
