We ended last week with Kelly Sullivan's photos from the Sidnaw area and we begin this week with more from Kelly. With her busy schedule operating Sidnaw Eats, she doesn't get out to enjoy her surroundings as much as she'd like to, but when she does, it's always easy for her to find beautiful and relaxing places in the Ottawa National Forest.
Today she takes us to the edges of a pond in the forest, complete with lily pads and a reflection of the clouds in the sky. If those first two scenes don't calm the savage beast within you, then the last photo with the simple beauty of a water lily in full bloom amongst the multitude of lily pads, should. I can just imagine the quietness surrounding this watering hole, with just the sounds of insects and birds all around you.
Certainly a nice calm way to start your week off… enjoy!
