So nice to see sunny days again after Monday! Monday afternoon was nasty weather. We had straight line winds recorded at 90+ m.p.h. My horses were taking cover in the barn, those winds peeled the roof off while they were in there. Terrorized horses and the barn roof now lays in our ditch. All horses are fine thank the Good Lord! Trees uprooted everywhere, and the Cedar River has flooded 1/3 of our farm. We had no power which meant no water, Bob brought water home from his work place for the horses. Power was restored just a little while ago, so it seems maybe we are on a upward swing now! But all of Linn County looks pretty much like a war zone.

Sure am glad to hear you and your family and pets survived that terrible storm, Janie! I was watching the radar most of the evening and it didn't look good for your area. Wishing you sunny skies and calm winds today!!

Sure hope things turn around for you, Janie. Will be praying for a good weather day today and art least throughout the weekend so the river can subside a little.
Hugs to you :-)
