Splendid! Remembering D-Day, will have to watch "Saving Private Ryan" this weekend.

With remembering D Day at our airport is an actual WWII B-17 on display and for $400.00 you can have a ride. This B-17 flew fairly low over our farm, what an awesome sight it was! And the rumbling noise it made, better than a good sounding muscle car!

As I'm thinking about how great the slideshow is
today, I come to the bridge picture. WOW!!!

Remembering those who fought and died on this awful
day at Normandy, among other places :-(

"The Longest Day" ~ a great but sad movie about the D-Day invasion.
May we never forget!

Remembering all the heroes who were a part of D-
Day.
So proud to see some of them in France for the
70th
anniversary; God bless them and the troops who lie
in the cemeteries in Europe.

Alex, it took me 3 tries to watch all of "Saving
Private Ryan". Just was overpowering to think of
the challenges the troops faced.

May we, and future generations, never forget.
