When the kiddos are getting rambunctious at home, Tami Dupuis-Michaud knows exactly what to do, bundle them up in the car and take them out to Big Traverse Bay, so they can run off some steam on the shores of Lake Superior.

Doesn't that look like fun in her first photo? That's her son running for all he's worth with his kite trailing after him. He looks so determined to keep that kite airborne and I love that you can just sense the joy in his running feet.

The next photo is Tami's daughter, wearing mom's jacket with the sleeves all rolled up. It must have been one of our chillier "summer" days, but that wasn't going to stop them from having fun there at the beach.

Photo number three is again Tami's son, who proudly spelled out his name in the soft Traverse beach sand with his feet for the writing utensils. He sure keeps those feet busy, whether it's running or writing with them. Then in the last photo, Tami captured the fun that playing on the shores of the Big Lake can be, with the kids and their friend saluting her with arms raised and happy smiles!

Such fun to watch kids playing on the beaches. But
I think most of the days up there have been
chillier, haven't they Mary, lol???

Tami, thanks for sharing your family's fun on the beach. Sure looked like a great way to burn a child's energy!

My mom used to take us to the beach like that.
Memories of the beach will last a lifetime. Way to
